COACHING COURSES
The success of a sports program depends a great deal on the quality of the coach. That's why the Coaching Association of Canada recommends that all coaches in Canada, whether novice or master, become certified in the National Coaching Certified Program (NCCP).
COMPETITION COACH
This 2 day course has been designed to prepare coaches to meet the needs of athletes who are relatively new to Competition. At the completion of the course, coaches will be able to develop athletes of any age by teaching or refining the curling skills, strategy and tactics required for athletes to compete at a Regional, Provincial and some National level competitions.
To become a "Certified" Competition Coach, you must complete the following:
- Competition Coach Course (2 day workshop)
- Make Ethical Decisions Module Training (Multisport) (3 hours) **is recommended but not mandatory**
- Make Ethical Decisions On-Line Evaluation
- Portfolio Submission to the ACF
- In Person Evaluation
